Have you ever wondered why we watch so much TV? One reason could be the meaningful messages from your most memorable shows. Check out the list below to see what shows you should definitely add to your lineup.
1. Euphoria
Euphoria is a show that is on HBO. It stars the disney child actor Zendaya. Her character Rue takes on challenges as a teenager dealing with problems like drug addiction, finding her identity and anxiety. This show is rated R so there is some very mature content.
2. All American
All American is a show on “The CW” that follows the life of Spencer James who is a highschool football player at South Crenshaw High. Spencer struggles with finding his footing, he makes friends with his team mate Jordan’s sister who is also fighting to find herself.
3. Rhythm & Flow
Rhythm and Flow is a Netflix series hosted by Cardi B. Alongside her are the famous rappers Tip “T.I” Harris and Chance the Rapper they go on a search to find that next hottest rappers from their hometowns New York, Atlanta and Chicago.
4. Grown-ish
Grown-ish is a spin-off series to the ABC family tv show “Black-ish”. The show follows the Johnson’s oldest daughter Zoey (played by actress Yara Shahidi) through college and the challenges that come with being an adult.
5. Riverdale
Riverdale is a CW tv show that is based off of the famous 1950’s comic book “Archie”. Showing the lives of the main characters Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge and Jughead Jones and watching them solve the mysteries that come their way.
6. Pretty Little Liars
Pretty little liars is a show on FreeForm that is based off of a book written by Sara Shepard. The show follows the life of four teenage girls who have to solve their friends case after she goes missing.
7. On my block
On my block is a Netflix series that shows the coming-of-age of four friends who are growing up in South Central Los Angeles. This shows the friends dealing with pain and newness of their highschool experiences.
8. Big Mouth
Big Mouth is a Netflix series that is showing cartoon characters going through puberty. The characters experience the nightmare of growing up while battling with their hormone monsters as well.
9. Stranger Things
Stranger things is a sci-fi series that is on Netflix. When a boy vanishes the small town tries to uncover the mystery that involves science experiments, supernatural forces and a strange little girl.
10. 13 Reasons Why
13 Reasons Why is a show that is from Netflix that revolves around the classmates of Hannah Baker. After she commits suicide 13 of Hannah’s classmates get tapes explaining how they were part of the cause in her death.
If you ever finish or can’t find a show to watch you should try watching one of these because trust me it will be worth it once you start watching. So go grab some popcorn and pick a show to watch from the list.
