Just Keep Running

He practiced very hard for his first meet which was on September 21st, 2019 by running 3 miles everyday. “I’m doing this to help me get in shape for wrestling season and it’s really helping.” Jordan Thompson said.

Washington High School newest Cross Country member Kamari Williamson as he is going to do his practices to prepare for his upcoming races on September 16, 2019. Kamari is on our JV cross country team. ’’The key is breathing correctly when running, that will help you the most in my opinion’’ Kamari said.

Back at it Again With the Wildcats

The Washington Wildcats prepare to play a match vs Schlage at the Washington stadium on September 17th at 6:00pm. This is a league game so its better for them to win league games so they can win league once again. “I think that they are going to do good if they work more on the defense because the offense is already good” said Peter a member of the Wildcat soccer team.

As of last year Sydney became more active in school sports and has been motivated to stay active. “Sports is a good way to put yourself out there and meet new people, I’m glad I was given the opportunity to play” Sydney said.

Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat

Cassandra Beltran a senior at Washington HS is excited about graduation being around the corner, graduation will take place at Memorial Hall on May 19th, 2020 at 7p.m. She plans on attending K-state right after high and going in to Criminology as a CSI. “ I’m excited to see what my future holds for me but most importantly I’m excited to make my parents proud and live a good life.” said Beltran.
