Top 3 Most Delicious Kansas City Asian Restaurants Guaranteed to Fill Your Belly

By: Hsa Lwe

Did you know that a lot of Asian food has meaning behind it? Click “Read more” to find the meaning behind some of Kansas City’s greatest Asian Restaurants.

  1. Naree Kitchen- In Naree Kitchen’s dish ‘pho’ they put a variety of meat, spices, and vegetables. This dish originated in the Nam Dinh and  Hanoi regions of North Vietnam after the French colonization of the country in the late 1880s. The word “pho” comes from the french word “feu” which means fire.

  1. China Feast- China Feast is known for their noodles. In Chinese culture, noodles are seen as a sign of long life due to their long length. Noodles are often served on birthdays as a wish for a long life. It is believed that noodles should be eaten whole, without breaking it into pieces, because cutting the noodles shorter represents cutting your life shorter.

  1. Kobi Q- Kobi Q’s Korean BBQ is very delicious, especially their meat Bulgogi. Bulgogi is a signature meat dish birthed out of the commercialization of beef in Korea, so you can find them at any Korean restaurant. Bulgogi is marinated in sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and onions. And in the restaurants it may be served cooked or raw to be cooked at the table.

There are a lot of asian restaurants that have meaning behind their food, but I chose these three restaurants because they are very interesting and their food is amazing. I can guarantee that these would fill your belly up. Is there a KC restaurant that you would add to this list? Let me know in the comments below.
